President house will hold a Special Prayer Today

Today, at Aiwan-e-Sadar a special prayer will be held after the Friday prayers in order to seek forgiveness due to the current situation of the country.

As per the media reports, Salaat-u-Tauba will be offered with a limited gathering of people. A meeting took place between President Arif Alvi and a delegation of the Council of Islamic Ideology which was led by Dr. Qibla Ayaaz. In this meeting, the decision took place to hold a special prayer at the President’s House to seek forgiveness.

The Jumma Khutba will be delivered by Dr. Noor-Ul-Haq Minister of Religious affairs which will also be broadcasted live.

On the other hand, Nasir Hussain Shah Sindh Minister for Information said that a restriction will strictly be imposed on the Friday congregational prayers all over the province.

He also requested everyone to pray from their homes and avoid going outside from 12-3 pm.

Regarding the restriction, the Home department has officially imposed a lockdown from 12 pm to 3 pm during the Friday prayer time as a preventative step to stop the virus from spreading.
