President House to Open for General Public on Dec 7

The President House would be opened for the general public on Saturday that is December 7 for the general public. People would be able to visit the presidency from 11 am to 2:30 pm but would not be allowed to carry their bags and mobile phones.

Last year it was decided that the doors of the President House in Islamabad would be opened for the general public.

The President House now remains open for the general public from 9 am to 4 pm. The visitors could enter the Aiwan-e-Sadar by indicating their National Identity Card at the entrance.

The entry to the President House is permitted from the Gate of National Assembly.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government had made the announcement of opening the significant government buildings for public use soon after it gets into power.

The Governor House of all the provinces have already been opened for the general public in accordance with the policy of the government.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan has given approval for the exemption of the sales tax and fixed tax on the construction work under the Naya Pakistan Housing Schme, as announced by the Special Assistant to PM on Information.

She also mentioned that a committee has been set up for controlling the prices of the different items.

While talking to media, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the premier has also approved for the establishment of a system for halting adulteration in the items and goods.
