According to a report, the pollution in the rivers of the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has increased to an alarming level.
As per the details, it has been learned that there are 17 hundred different types of bacteria in the Kabul River. The species in the water are in the danger due to the contamination in the water.
It is also feared that the quantity of oxygen will also reduce in the water soon.
The increasing pollution in the rivers of KP is also injurious for the health of humans as people are suffering from typhoid, hepatitis, diarrhoea, cholera and several other diseases.
According to the details, the citizens have demanded the PTI-led provincial government of KP to take the bold measures to overcome this problem.
