The Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) has formulated a plan to start a 1-year filmmaking course. These classes on film-production would help the aspirants to become a professional film-maker.
The course would offer a basic understanding of the cinema and its relation to history, technology, culture, and aesthetics.
As per an official, the course would commence from the 5th of October. The course would have two semesters and the last date to apply for the course is the 5th of September.
The faculty would comprise of both local and international teachers who would be imparting the required knowledge to the students in order to assist them in becoming a professional filmmaker.
Sarmad Khoosat and Andre F Nebe from Germany, are the two film directors who would be teaching the direction.
Peter Bussian, who is an American cinematographer would be teaching cinematography. Saim Saddique and Lisa Locus (an American scriptwriter) would be teaching the techniques of scriptwriting.
On the other hand, Pakistan has invited Turkey to make investments in the northern areas of the country in order to assist in boosting tourism in the scenic region.
