PMD predicts Rain and Snowfall in Various Parts of Pakistan

Get ready for chilly weather and intensification of cold conditions in Pakistan. Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain and snowfall in different parts of Pakistan.
There is a westerly wave that is prevailing in Eastern Iran. It is expected that the wave will enter Pakistan from Wednesday evening. It is expected to bring chilly weather in upper and central parts of Pakistan, starting from Thursday.

In Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir widespread rain with thunderstorm is expected from Wednesday to Friday.
Scattered rain with thunderstorm is predicted in upper Punjab including Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions, Islamabad and Gilgit Baltistan. Isolated rain will occur in different South Punjab regions.
Furthermore, isolated heavy rainfall is expected in Quetta, Zhob, Makran, Kalat, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir from Thursday (evening/night) to Friday. Snowfall is also predicted over the mountains during the same period.
So yes, winter, real winter is coming. If your heaters have not turned on till now, brace yourselves to turn them on. Warm clothes, and blankets are necessary to avoid getting ill.
