PM to Launch Youth Empowerment Card

It has been decided by Prime Minister to launch Empowerment Card for youth. The aim to provide a fixed amount of money to every cardholder.

The empowerment card idea is quite similar to the Benazir Income Support Programme. The government will provide PKR 4000 to PKR 5000 to the people in need. Furthermore, the cardholder will get subsidy on civic services that include travel, passport, and National Identity Card fee.

Prime Minister Youth Affairs Programme said: “PTI’s government is committed to providing paramount opportunities to youth so that they could contribute to national development.”

The qualifying candidates will be shortlisted by using the NADRA database. Many programs have been started by the present Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government in order to provide opportunities to the youngsters. Prime Minister Kamyab Jawan Programme has been undertaken which has been quite successful. Just in a few days, the government has received over a million loan applications.

Also, PM Khan launched the biggest undergraduate scholarship program. Under the program, 200,000 scholarships will be issued in the next four years. Half of these will be for women.
