PM to Inaugurate Pak Rail Live Tracking System Today

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed—the federal minister for Railways made an announcement on Monday that the Prime Minister—Imran Khan would be inaugurating the “Pak Rail Live Tracking” on Tuesday that is today to enable the track location of the trains boarded by the loved ones, as per the reports of ARY News.

In his video message on Twitter, the railway’s minister explained that people would be able to keep a track on the location and time of the train via the mobile tracking app of the Pakistan Railways.

He also added that the tracking system would also be available on the freight trains.

He further mentioned that Thal Express would also be inaugurated on Tuesday that is the 12th of February. He said that Thal Express train would operate between Rawalpindi and Multan through Muzaffargarh, Bhakar, Layyah, Mianwali, and Kundian.

The express train would depart from Rawalpindi and Multan at the same time that is at 7 am on the 13th of February. Continuing on with the tradition of Pakistan Railways the people would be able to travel for free in the train.

He added that he would personally be monitoring the tracking system.

He encouraged the Pakistan Railway workers for their efforts for providing coaches for the newly launched trains.

The minister also informed in a statement that a new VVIP train termed as Jinnah Express would also be made operational from March 30, which would run between Lahore and Karachi. He added that another train Sir Syed Express would also be introduced later.

He also mentioned that 5 major railway stations of Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad, and Peshawar would be renovated on an immediate basis.
