The Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohammad has gifted PM Khan a luxury car. As per the reports of local media, the car gifted to Prime Minister Imran Khan is a proton car. The X-70 Proton car would be handed over in a ceremony.
The car would be received by Razzak Dawood—the financial adviser to PM on trade.
The Malaysian PM had made the announcement of gifting the car to PM Pakistan previously in the month of August when he visited Pakistan.
Mahathir Mohammad had also announced to establish a manufacturing plant of the automobile maker in Pakistan.
PORTON Holdings Berhad is an automative firm of Malaysia and the automobile cooperation is active in the designing of the automobile, its sales and distribution.
Mahathir bin Mohamad was chosen as the PM of Malaysia in 1981 and retired in the year 2003 and then returned to the office in 2018.
Previously on the 30th of November, the Malaysian PM’s special ambassador and Deputy Foreign Minister—Marzuki Bin Haji Yahya called on to the PM in Islamabad.
Matters regarding the mutual interest, bilateral relations, inhuman curfew in the occupied Kashmir and other issues were also discussed in the meeting.
During the meeting, Marzuki extended an official invite from the Malaysian PM for the KL Summit, being held in Kuala Lumpur on the 18th till the 20th of December 2019.
