Tele School Television Channel has been launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan. The government will use all its resources to improve the channel. He said that the channel will also be beneficial for the children living in far-flung areas.
The Prime Minister said that the aim of this initiative is to provide children with education at their doorsteps amid the lockdown situation.
He said that this concept is great especially for the people living in remote areas of Pakistan where there is no infrastructure for primary education. Also, he said that this initiative will be continued after the end of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Prime Minister congratulated the Federal Education and Professional Training and Pakistan Television Ministry for their collaboration in the launch of the channel. He said that it is revolutionary in the current situation as the whole world is moving towards distance learning.
The Prime Minister said that they were receiving complaints regarding below standard education in the government schools in remote areas of the country. He said that tele school television is quite a productive opportunity for parents. Adding that it will help a large number of children who dropped out of schools.
Furthermore, the PM said that Pakistan was lagging behind in tele education and telemedicine and via this initiative, mobile phones adult education would also be promoted.
