PM Khan would be leaving for Malaysia on the 3rd of February on a 2-day official visit.
A high-level delegation would be accompanying the Prime Minister Imran Khan during this tour and talks would be held between both the nations on the 4th of February.
A one-on-one meeting would also be held between the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohammad. During this meeting, bilateral relations would be discussed including the trade and investment.
Aisha Farooqui, the spokesperson of the foreign office said that the ties of Pakistan with Malaysia were of significance. She added that they value these ties and would continue to work together for strengthening them.
On the other hand, as per the latest development, the business community has asked PM Khan for lowered interest rates during a meeting that was held on Monday.
In response to the demand, Prime Minister Imran Khan has given the business community assurance that their issues would be addressed and would be dealt with properly.
