A meeting of the federal cabinet will be chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday 16th of June.
The federal cabinet meeting lead by Imran Khan aims to discuss the five-point agenda.
The cabinet will discuss the economic and political situation of the country as per the agenda of the meeting. In the meeting, all those decisions taken by the ECC (Economic Coordination Committee) on 10th June will be sanctioned.
The cabinet agenda also includes the approval of the launch of the coronavirus fund under the SBP (State Bank of Pakistan). The amendments made in the Children Act will also be approved in the federal cabinet meeting.
The current situation of the COVID-19 in the country will also be a part of the discussion in the meeting.
Previously, in the last meeting of the federal cabinet, the privatization of the mega-firm suggested by the Economic Coordination Committee was formally approved.
The cabinet not only agreed to privatize the mega-firm but it also provided a golden handshake to all its workers.
According to Prime Minister Imran Khan, National Interest is of key importance but all the employees of the mills have to be rewarded.
