PM Khan to Launch Support Program for Unemployed Workers amid Coronavirus

Prime Minister Imran Khan will be launching a support program today, on Saturday for people who have lost their jobs due to the novel coronavirus.

A web portal has been prepared in this regard which will be inaugurated by PM Khan. People who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 can get registered on the portal. They will be given Rs 12,000 under the Ehsaas Emergency Cash program.

In order to counter coronavirus pandemic, the Pak government has fixed resources. Also, the Prime Minister Relief Fund for COVID-19 has been launched for the people affected. The fund was launched to collect donations for dealing with the health crisis. As per Senator Faisal Javed Khan, over Rs.3 billion have been collected in the PM Khan’s coronavirus relief fund.

Other than this it is pertinent to mention here that the PM wishes to send funds, ration, and other help to the Pakistanis living abroad amid the coronavirus pandemic.
