PM Khan has said that he would be inviting Turkey to join the CPEC projects.
As per an interview with the Turkish Anadolu Agency, he said that he hopes to further boost and strengthen the relations with Turkey. The Turkish President is anticipated to visit Pakistan in the mid of February, which he expects would further be building on the brotherly relations between the two countries.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also said that they are promoting their trade ties and added that Pakistan is grateful for the way Turkey has stood with the people of Kashmir. He said that the statement given by the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the happenings to the people of Kashmir by the BJP government was encouraging, so the relationship in every aspect is getting firmer.
PM Khan further added that when the Turkish President visits Pakistan in the month of February he would be bringing many business houses and investors along with him. He said that they would have the Pakistani businessmen and investors meet with their Turkish counterparts. The objective of this activity would be to boost trade ties.
Pakistan is rich in minerals but so far they have not been explored, as informed by the PM. He also said that the mineral exploration is not the only area about which he wants to discuss with the Turkish President. He maintained that they are looking for the transfer of technology from Turkey in the different areas, so it would be quite a detailed visit. He also stated that all types of economic relations, besides strategic and diplomatic relations would also be discussed.
