PM Khan would be inaugurating the BRT Peshawar Project on August 13, as per the reports of local media.
Mehmood Khan, the CM of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and others would be accompanying PM Khan.
It is pertinent to mention that the long-awaited project is to be inaugurated on the 13th of August finally after 6 deadlines. The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also announced the fares for the Bus Rapid Transport service.
The BRT project comprises of a 27.5 kilometers main track and 31 stations while the length of the feeder routes is 62 kilometer and has got 146 stops.
The main track is connected to 7 various areas of the city so that the people could travel from their areas in small buses for reaching the main route. 3 mega commercial plazas would reach completion in June 2021, however, the bus parking areas of the bus are ready.
As per the documentation, the minimum bus fare of the BRT would be Rs.15 while a maximum fare of Rs.50 would be charged as set by the KP government.
On the other hand, the government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has reopened the tourist spots after there has been a decline in the coronavirus cases in the country.
