Imran Khan—the Prime Minister of Pakistan is scheduled to address a public gathering in Azad Jammu & Kashmir’s capital Muzaffarabad on Friday to show Pakistan’s support for the innocent Kashmiris, who have been living under curfew and communication blackout for more than 40 days.
PM Khan, on Wednesday, had announced the hold a public gathering in Muzaffarabad in a tweet. The Prime Minister of Pakistan, in a tweet, said that he means to “send a message to the world about the continuing siege of Indian-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by the Indian occupation forces; and to show the residents of Kashmir that Pakistan stands resolutely with them”.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office Dr Mohammad Faisal, PM Khan is also expected to deliver a policy statement on the Kashmir crisis.
It is pertinent to mention here that it will the third visit of the Prime Minister to Azad Jammu and Kashmir since August 5 when Modi-led fascist government of India revoke Article 370 of its constitution and scrapped the special status of the occupied mountainous valley through a rushed presidential order.
On the same day, the Indian government had imposed a strict lockdown and communication blackout in the region that has been placed for more than 40 days.
