The professor, however, said that the cricket wasn’t the only reason behind naming Prime Minister Imran Khan ‘Man of the Year’, it was rather his desire for the peace with the neighbouring country India which earned him the title.

He further said that he also impressed with Imran Khan launching a successful fund-raising campaign to establish a world-class cancer hospital in Pakistan.

On the other hand, Palestinian-American Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib was named as the ‘Woman of the Year’ by the centre, which is an autonomous research entity with the Royal Aal Al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought in Jordan.
