Imran Khan—the Prime Minister of Pakistan said on Sunday that Pakistan is all set to open its door for the Sikhs pilgrims from around the world on November 09.
According to the content of the official Facebook post, the premier said that the construction work on the Kartarpur project enters the final stages and the corridor will be opened on November 09 to the public.
PM Khan further added that the largest Gurdwara will be visited by the Sikhs from across India and other parts of the globe.
The prime minister said that Kartarpur Corridor will become a major religious hub for the Sikh community and it will also help to boost the local economy of Pakistan.
Earlier, the Project Director of Kartarpur Corridor Atif Majeed said that as many as 5,000 Sikh Yatrees will reach Pakistan in the initial phase. On the other hand, the arrangements for arrivals and accommodation of 10,000 Yatrees will be made in the later stage.
