PM Khan says Ignoring SOPs can put a burden on Hospitals

Imran Khan

On Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan warns that if the citizens will not follow the prescribed SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) then the burden on the hospitals and health facilities will increase all over the country.

PM Khan while talking to the Corona Relief Tiger Force volunteers in Islamabad said that it is very important to make people understand how important it is to follow the preventive measures.

If the citizens will start following the SOPs properly and responsibly only then it is possible to limit the spread of the virus, said Imran Khan.

According to the PM, the upcoming month is very critical for Pakistan and its health infrastructure.

He further added that if we succeed in convincing people to adopt maximum safety measures then the peak of the coronavirus will pass easily. The administration is already pushed to its limits and it cannot tolerate any further additional pressures.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also spoke in regards to the Task of the Tiger force. He said that the volunteers are very important as they are playing a vital role in stopping the spread of the global pandemic in all countries.

These volunteers are the future of Pakistan and yet they have to play an important part in the upcoming monsoon season by planting as many trees as possible, added Imran Khan.

As per the PM, Pakistan is a poor country that cannot bear a harsh lockdown, and hence the only solution was a smart lockdown.
