PM Khan on Sunday said that the Blue Area project is a multi-billion commercial venture in the federal capital which would not just create jobs but would also attract the investment from the overseas Pakistanis.
He announced about the project launch in a tweet on Sunday and said that one megaproject on its pattern would be introduced in Lahore and on in Karachi soon.
PM Khan visited the suggested location of the project that is opposite to the F-9 park in Islamabad on Sunday.
He was told that the receipts from the commercial auction, to be conducted next month, would be used primarily for the rehabilitation of the capital city, for the provision of the services and for the improvement of the environment.
A portion would be used for the construction of the low-cost housing especially for providing dignified accommodation to the residents of the approved Katchi Abadis via the Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority.
As per the latest, the government of Sindh has taken the decision of extending the schools closure until the 13th of March amid coronavirus outbreak.
