On the Time Magazine’s cover, Prime Minister Imran Khan was featured along with four other world leaders for the World Economic Forum (WEF) publication edition.
Along with PM Imran Khan, WEF founder Klaus Schwab, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and Europe’s Central Bank President Christine Lagarde were amongst the top world leaders featured on the cover illustration
Also, the annual summit will commerce today in Davos for four days. PM Imran is expected to attend the summit from 21st to 23rd January with the completed trip costing $68,000 to the national exchequer.
The advisors of PM Imran Abdul Razak Dawood and Zulfi Bukhari will accompany him to Davos. He is expected to hold meetings there with many world leaders including US President Trump.
There are 53 heads of state on the guest list. President Trump is included on the guest list and it is expected that he will address the gathering on 21st January.
PM Khan will meet foreign investors and tell them about the investment opportunities in Pakistan. 2020 would mark the 50th anniversary of the invitation-only event that will take place in the Alpine resort town of Davos. It is expected that almost, 3000 participants from 118 countries will attend the event.
In an earlier article, we informed our readers that Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Pakistan can not go ahead without the reforms. He reaffirmed his resolve to move forward with institutional reforms. He said that 2020 will be the year of job creation, high growth rate, and prosperity.
