PM Khan had a telephonic conversation with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina Wajid. During the conversation, PM Khan extended an invite to PM Sheikh Hasina to visit Pakistan as soon as the COVID-19 situation normalizes.
The two PMs exchanged views about how to combat the challenges presented by the epidemic.
PM Khan lauded the smart lockdown strategy of Bangladesh’s government and how it has protected the lives as well as the livelihoods of the public. He also discussed the idea of the Global Initiative on the Debt Relief for the developing nations.
Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasized the desire of Pakistan to have close fraternal ties with Bangladesh and underlined the significance of the regular bilateral contacts and people-to-people exchanges.
Pakistan is inclined on strengthening the relations with Bangladesh based on respect, mutual trust, and equality.
PM Khan also presented the perspective of Pakistan on the serious situation in the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and highlighted the significance of peaceful resolution of the years-old conflict.
On the other hand, the government of Sindh has given approval to the new car license plates for the automobiles of the province.
