PM Khan encouraged all the Pakistanis to plant a tree on the 9th of August to celebrate Tiger Force Day.
The plantation drive would be held throughout the nation under the guidance of the Tiger Force members, as informed by PM Khan in a video message on Tuesday.
Tiger Force is a force of young people who have joined it voluntarily. It was formed by the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for ensuring the implementation of the coronavirus SOPs in the markets, shops and business centres throughout the nation. It was referred to as the Corona Relief Tiger Force.
PM Khan even asked all the MNAs, MPAs, and the local representatives to take part in the plantation drive. He told the elected representatives that they have to lead from the front.
The students and the young people should come out and assist the government in its objective of planting the 10 billion trees in the country, as said by the Prime Minister.
He mentioned that plantation of trees is significant for the nation due to two important reasons, which are pollution and global warming. One of the best ways of reducing pollution is by the plantation of trees.
