Prime Minister Imran Khan has given approval for Rs. 100 billion grant for the ‘Kamyab Jawan Program.’
In a meeting with the Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Usman Dar and the PM, the hefty sum was approved.
The role of the youth in the development of Pakistan was acknowledged by PM Khan. He said that the program will open new employment opportunities for the youth.
Usman Dar said, “Millions of youth will benefit from it. The program will help them to fulfil their dreams.”
Adding, “Following the directives of the premier the program especially focuses on the development of youth.”
He said that the program will be launched soon. The final approval from the federal cabinet is pending.
Some of the important features of the development program are interest-free loans for start-up programs, fresh graduate internships, economic empowerment, job opportunities, and a green youth movement.
The Kamyab Jawan Programme of Prime Minister will help in creating 1 million jobs via the SME sector. It was approved by the Prime Minister under the National Financial Inclusion Strategy.
