On Tuesday the Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed the ex-Finance Minister Asad Umar as the member of Economic Development Council, as per the reports of local media.
The issued notification reads that Asad Umar has been selected as the Economic Development Council—NDC member.
PM Khan previously in the month of June gave approval to the National Development Council—NDC and announced about its members.
As per a notification issued the Prime Minister would be heading the council whereas the Chief of Army Staff—COAS, General Qamar Javed Bajwa has been made a member of the NDC.
The significant government members in the council included the Foreign Minister—Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the adviser to the PM on finance—Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and the Minister for Planning and Development—Khusro Bakhtiar.
In the latest development, the FBR chairperson gave clarification that the Pakistani nationals travelling abroad are not required to have income tax return identification at any airport.
