According to a source information, Prime Minster Imran Khan may visit Afghanistan for a day on the invitation sent from the Afghan president.
In his visit, Imran Khan will discuss the Afghan peace process and bilateral ties. The date of his visit is not yet shared.
In another report, the US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation, Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad, had a talk with COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ).
According to the ISPR, they too discussed the regional security situation and the Afghan peace process besides also discussing Pakistan-Afghan border management.
The report highlighted that Zalmay Khalilzad appreciated the efforts of Pakistan for peace in the region during their discussion.
