To accommodate everyone in the holy month of Ramadan, the PM of Pakistan directed his cabinet to bring down the prices of essential commodities.
Prime Minister Imran Khan held a special meeting discussing prices of essential items and directed his team to make sure the availability of must-haves during the holy month of Ramazan.
He also directed the team that the Utility Stores around the country must have everything available during the month.
The meeting discussed that after taking special steps, it was possible to bring down prices of some important commodities, including onion, tomato, chicken, and meat.
It is further said that in December, a special meeting was held to discuss the same topic. It was directed back then by the PM to take strict actions against those found in stockpiling and hoarding commodities to earn high profits.
