On Saturday the Lahore High Court—LHC termed it a must to plant at least 2 trees essentially for the construction of a new house.
The High Court of Lahore during a hearing session about pollution control in Pakistan said that the ones failing to abide by the orders would have the no-objection certificates of their factories or residential societies canceled.

The comprehensive order directed the imposition of heavy fines on all the ones found cutting trees while also directing all departments to issue yearly reports regarding the tree plantations.
The judgement also imposed the regulation to plant trees in all the hospitals, parking areas, educational institutes and other places of public use.
Previously this month, the tree plantation drive was introduced by the Prime Minister Imran Khan after he planted a sapling at the area of Shakaparian in Islamabad.
