Plans of Taking PSL to Karachi

Najam Sethi, Chairman PCB, and Chief Minister-Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah will be meeting tomorrow that is October 18 for discussing the preparations that need to be done in order to host PSL’s matches in Karachi.

Chairman PCB using the platform of Twitter announced about this meeting.

The meeting is scheduled for 11 am tomorrow morning at the CM house. As per sources provincial government officials and sports ministers would also be attending the meeting.

The minister ensured Sethi about providing full cooperation for hosting few matches of PSL in Karachi. He further assured about taking all necessary security measures as per the need of this event.

Srilanka’s cricket team has recently confirmed about their visit to Pakistan by the end of this month for playing a T20I match. PCB Chairman was very excited and happy with this development and did not hesitate to express that on Twitter.

He also added that the merriment of fans would be doubled if Pakistan gets victorious.

Srilanka would be playing the third and last T20I match on 29th October in Lahore, the first two matches would be hosted by the United Arab Emirates.

This announcement of Srilankan team of visiting Pakistan is a big news as after 2009 this would be the first time a major cricket team would be coming to Pakistan, excluding the fleeting visit by Zimbabwe in 2015.

As per sources, PCB is thinking to keep the ticket prices comparatively lower. The board has directed the marketing department for keeping the prices in the range of rupees five hundred to rupees four thousand.
