In order to enforce SOPs related to coronavirus, Asad Umar – Minister for Planning and Development – requests a national consensus from political parties.
In his recent tweet, Asad Umar said stated that all public gatherings should be banned, despite the increase of coronavirus cases.
The report read that the National Coordination Committee (NCC) needs consensus from national political leadership to limit public gatherings.
Early today, it was reported that the number of registered cases has crossed 1,708 in the past 24 hours. And the death toll has reached 7,021 in the country.
The Minister also mentioned that the government is not of the view to shut business down like earlier this yea. However, the government could shut those ventures with no effects on the economy of the country.
