PKR depreciated against USD by 12 paisa in the forex market
In the forex market, PKR depreciated against all three big giants, i.e. USD, GBP, and EUR.
Today, the PKR depreciated against USD by 12 paisa. The currency closed at PKR 160.62 per USD.
It was a relatively dull trading session, trading in a range of 17 paisa per USD showing an intraday high bid of 160.73 and an intraday low offer of 160.60.
It is also added that within the Open Market, PKR was traded at 160.20/160.80 per USD.
PKR also depreciated by 1 rupee against GBP and was traded at PKR 220.39 per GBP.
Similarly, PKRdepreciated by 11 paisa against EUR to close at PKR 194.86 per EUR.
It is said that the overnight repo rate towards the close of the session was 7.10/7.20%, whereas the 1-week rate was 7.05/7.10%.
