It has been reported that the revenue of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been increased by Rs45 billion in one year.
According to the details, the national airline witnessed a sharp rise in the revenue up to Rs144 billion which stood Rs99 billion last year.

The statistics shared by the national flag-carrier showed a significant reduction in the fiscal deficit of the airline deducted to Rs17 billion from Rs38 billion. The official documents further showed that the per kilometre income of the PIA increases up to Rs9 from Rs6.27, whereas, its seat factor rises to 81 per cent from 77 per cent.
After implementing the reform plan in the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the passengers show confidence over the national airline as the PIA recorded an increase in passengers up to 125,000 on domestic and international flights during the period of one year.
It is pertinent to mention here that the national flag-carrier collected Rs178.5 million revenue from bulkhead seats after bettering its strategy besides increases its earnings from cargo up to Rs600 million. On the other hand, the national airline collected Rs500 million income in term of additional luggage from the passengers.
