As per the announcement of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), passengers who are under eighteen would not be permitted to travel alone to Dubai that is without any guardian.
As per a letter issued by the Pakistani national flag carrier to the sales outlets and travel agencies, it is mentioned that as per the new law by the Dubai airport authorities and immigration, any passenger below the age of eighteen travelling to Dubai without guardian would be deported back to their homeland.
Pakistan International Airlines advised business partners to abide by the new ruling before they book tickets in order to avoid any kind of trouble for the passengers at the Dubai International Airport.
Dubai authorities have imposed the rulings for preventing child trafficking in the United Arab Emirates.

As per the new rulings the minors and children under eighteen travelling alone to any where in UAE needs to have an authentic proper authorization letter from their parents. And the letter must provide the local and UAE address.
Moreover, the authorization letter must contain all the details of the person who would be receiving the minors on their arrival.

Earlier, Air India had released similar kind of letter for its passengers. However, the airline gave a leverage that minors aged eighteen or above could travel to United Arab Emirates with an authorisation letter from their parents in case the parents are not travelling with the minor, which was put into effect from the 1st of June.
