Earlier today, PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) declared that they have found a way to restart flight to the United Kingdom from this month.
One of the spokespeople from PIA said that the airlines are going to resume flights in phases through HiFly, which is a European airline from the 31st of October.
In the initial phase, the national flag carrier is going to operate flights at the following routes; Lahore to London, Islamabad to Manchester, and Islamabad to London.
As per the reports, Arshad Malik Chief Executive Officer (CEO) PIA asked the concerned officials of PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) to ensure that all the passengers are being provided with the best midair services.
He is hopeful that the travelers are going to prefer flying with Pakistan International Airlines.
It is important to mention here that back in June, EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) had suspended PIA’s authorization to operate flights in the EU (European Union) for the next six months due to the fake licenses scandal. But in July, the United Kingdom along with EASA permitted PIA to carry out flight operations.
Although, PIA has been wet-leasing HiFly’s aircraft during the restrictions to repatriate Pakistani from Europe in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
