The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has made the announcement to operate daily flights for PSL matches this season, as per the reports of ARY News.
PIA has announced to run daily flights to the cities that would be hosting the Pakistan Super League matches.
The national flag carrier also informed that it would be providing travel facilities to the PSL fans within the cities, which includes Sharjah, Karachi, Abu Dhabi, Lahore and Dubai, the cities that would be hosting the PSL matches.
The airline said in a statement that get your ticket fever on with the national airline. PIA would directly be flying to the cities hosting the PSL matches. It further mentioned that don’t wait and book the flight tickets now.
As per sources, the national airline would be operating the Boeing 777 and AirBus 320 jets from Peshawar, Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi during the PSL matches.
They said that 170 passengers would be transported via the AirBus320 and 300 passengers would be transported via Boeing 777 per day.
The Sindh Minister for local bodies—Saeed Ghani on Monday headed a meeting for reviewing the arrangements for the PSL matches which would be played in Karachi next month.
Wasim Akhtar—the Mayor of Karachi, the local bodies secretary, Iftikhar Ali Shalwani—the commissioner, the deputy commissioners at the district municipal corporations (DMCs) and other relevant officials attended the meeting.
They pondered upon a range of matters, including the availability of parking lots, security arrangements, beautification of the city and other related matters for ensuring the smooth conduct of the PSL matches in the port city.
