PIA has cut fares for domestic flights without baggage. The announcement has come 7 days after the national flag carrier announced to reduce the ticket prices of the one-way ticket inclusive of all taxes.
Abdullah Hafeez, the spokesman of the Pakistan International Airlines has said that the national flag carrier had reduced the rates to the minimum for one way fare for the local travel from Rs.12,000 to Rs.9,572 without baggage.
He also said that the passengers could carry up to 7 kg of the hand-baggage on the domestic travels with a reduced rate of Rs.9,572. The new rates would be for the travel to Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.
On the 29th of June, the PIA had announced to reduce Rs.12,000 for one-way tickets inclusive of all taxes for the various destinations which include, Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, and other cities.
As per the spokesperson, the new fares would be put into effect on an immediate basis.
On the other hand, the business tycoon of Pakistan, Malik Riaz has announced to award 25 scholarships every year.
