On Friday, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) declared that they have made arrangements to bring back Pakistanis stuck in France due to COVID-19.
According to the details, the national flag carrier will be operating chartered flights from Paris to Pakistan from the 15th of August in order to bring back stranded Pakistanis in France.
This move has been initiated in the wake of the ban imposed by the European Safety Agency over Pakistan International Airlines. Now, through chartered flights, all the passengers can travel directly from Paris to Pakistan.
As per the schedule released by the airlines, the first special chartered flight will be operated from Paris to Islamabad on the 15th of August. On the 16th of August, the second flight will operate from Islamabad to Paris.
Moreover, another flight will take-off from Paris for Islamabad on 29th August whereas one more flight will fly from the Islamabad airport on August 30th to Paris.
Recently, PIA announced the resumption of flight operations for the United Kingdom (UK).
From the 14th of August, the passengers will be able to fly to Manchester, London, and Birmingham through direct flights.
PIA has also rented planes from the European companies with some foreign pilots to help passengers.
