PIA Takes a “Holly Jolly Flight” Before Christmas With Santa on Board

Pakistan International Airlines celebrated Christmas on board two days prior to the event celebrated around the world by the Christian community.

On Saturday the PIA passengers took a fantasy flight as they get to see the Santa Claus. St. Nick or the Father Christmas distributed gifts and love among the passengers on board during the “holly jolly flight”.

Pakistan International Airline tweeted on Twitter expressing their joy and excitement about this holly jolly flight and described the details of the Santa’s visit on the flight. The tweet also wished the ones celebrating the event.

There was another tweet telling about the Christmas party that took place on board.

Christmas is just a day apart and Christian community of Pakistan, like other parts of the world, are busy with preparations of the joyful event. There are decorations, festivals, events, festive, discount offers, sales and whatnot because the coming day. Places are being decorated with Christmas themes and sparkling lights, garlands and balls.

Christians are the second largest non-Muslim community residing in Pakistan along with Hindus. As per the records of 2005, the total number of the Christians living in Pakistan is approximately around 2.5 million or 1.6 percent of the population. Among these, about half are Protestant and half are Roman Catholics.

PIA seems to have entered the fun mode. Recently there was the birth of a baby girl on board and to that also PIA displayed immense pleasure and delight and now these Christmas celebrations.

All in all, this is a friendly and sweet gesture displayed by the flag carrier and would bring applaud and praise from everywhere.
