The national airline of Pakistan has issued a new set of COVID-19 associated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for its employees.
As per a circular released by the authorities of Pakistan International Airlines, face mask-wearing has been mandated for the employees during the office working hours.
According to the available reports, the national flag carrier has given advice to its employees to avoid shaking hands and hugging in order to curb the spread of the virus.

The staff has been told to stay away from people who have a cough, cold, and fever. The circular further read that any employee experiencing fever, cold or cough would be isolated.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan has issued a new set of SOPs for the domestic flights for controlling the risk of the spread of the virus and to keep the travelers and the crew members safe from the virus.
As per a spokesperson of the aviation authority, the new SOPs would be put into effect from the 6th of October and would remain in effect until the 31st of December.
