On Friday, Pakistan International Airlines decided to reduce the fare of its special flights by20% to 30% in order to provide ease to the passengers.
This decrease will surely provide relief to the Pakistanis stuck in UAE (United Arab Emirates) due to the Pandemic.
A meeting was held in Islamabad in which Sayed Zulfiqar Bukhari Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis said that the airfare for the UAE special flights will become effective from Saturday.

He further added that the government’s first and primary priority is to ensure that all Pakistanis stranded overseas are brought back to their respective homes.
SAPM also said that the government has also increased the capacity of repatriates from 2,000 passengers per week to 6,000 passengers.
The authorities are planning on carrying flights in the gulf countries to bring Pakistanis back. Also, they have been negotiating with Qatar Airways to bring people from the USA as PIA is not currently operating flights to New York due to some reasons.
The Ministry Overseas is also making out a plan to bring the dead bodies of the Expats back to Pakistan from other countries.
