PIA has reduced the airfares for London bound flights until the 15th of March. The announcement about the waiver in airfares was made on Thursday by the national flag carrier.
As per the announcement, the airfares would be reduced 10 per cent for the flights scheduled to take off from Pakistan towards the capital city of the United Kingdom, that is London.
The reduction is for all the flights flying in the direction and are inclusive of all the classes offered in the aircraft, as informed by a PIA spokesperson on the occasion.
The flights having waivered fares could only be booked until the 29th of this month, and the air ticket needs to be availed until the 15th of March.
Previously, on the 28th of the last month, the Pakistan Stock Exchange took the national aircraft service out of the list of payment defaulters.
PSX placed Pakistan International Airlines in the normal category of the trading firms. The decision was taken as the airline has complied with the tasks it was assigned for the year to take itself out from the list of defaulters.
An annual report was submitted by the airline and was placed in the list from normal trading firms by the PSX.
