For facilitating the passengers during this winter break season and when the schools are on vacation, the national flag carrier of the country has introduced special fares. PIA has offered up to 30 percent discount on the domestic flights that are operating between the cities of Lahore, Quetta, Islamabad, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Sialkot, and Karachi from the 3rd of December (which is today) onwards.
As per the shared details, the travelers of the airline would be able to travel between the cities on a one-way minimum fare of Rs.8,500 and the round trip of minimum fare of Rs.17,000 against the earlier charges of Rs.12,275 and Rs.24,600 for the same.
Abdullah Khan-the spokesperson of the Pakistan International Airlines the purpose behind the offering of these discounted rates is to offer ease to the people traveling to their homes during the winter breaks.
He also said that the inventory is available and the people could take benefit from these reduced fares on a first come first get basis.
On the other hand, PIA has taken the decision of leasing 8 new airplanes by the next year.
