PIA has made huge transfers of the daily-wage employees.
The national flag-carrier has given approval to the transfer of a large number of daily-wage workers performing duties on a contractual basis, as per the reports of local media on Sunday.
The daily-wage workers were shifted to the other cities of Pakistan from Karachi Office, who are as per reports are working on low salaries on daily-wages.
As per the staff members the measure is identical to putting pressure on the employees to leave their jobs by asking them to relocate to the other cities of the country.
They have complained that the latest directives would be affecting the workers who are getting less than Rs.17,000 on daily wages.
Previously on the 22nd of June, Pakistan International Airlines took the decision of transferring the officers belonging to the various departments to Islamabad.
The relocations were ordered in Security, MIS and Vigilance Departments where many officers were as per reports asked verbally to report to the Islamabad office.
The spokesperson of the national flag-carrier when contacted for getting confirmation on the latest development expressed unawareness on the matter of new transfers.
