PIA has introduced an aggressive business plan for the revival of the airline.
The administration of the Pakistan International Airlines—PIA has begun the business plan implementation for focusing the strategy for making the government-owned entity into a profitable organization.
The national flag-carrier has surged its routes by up to 13 and the number of flights to many nations for generating extra revenue, as per sources.

According to the sources, the airline would be operating forty-two flights to Jeddah, whereas 2 flights per week would be started from Quetta to Jeddah from the 28th of October and 2 flights of Multan to Jeddah in a week.
Furthermore, 2 flights in a week would be operated to Dubai from Multan and Sialkot to Kuwait.
The airline has decided a date for inaugurating Islamabad-Kuala Lumpur flights from the 14th of October and adds an extra flight from Peshawar to Dammam—Saudi Arabia, as per sources.
4 flights would be operated from the federal capital to Birmingham in a week, whereas, 2 additional flights would be started from Karachi to Toronto and 5 flights would be operated to Canada from various spots.
It is important to mention that the national-flag carrier surged the number of flights to Jeddah to 42 in a week after the announcement of operating 7 extra flights, the sources said.
The PIA would also be inducting Airbus 320 planes into its fleet this month.
