Pakistan International Airlines—PIA has surged the fares for UAE flights up to Rs.6,000. The fares have been hiked for the 2 sectors of Middle East—Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as per the reports of a private media house on Thursday.
After revision of the fares, a complete trip from Lahore to Dubai would cost Rs.61,000 while the same for Lahore-Abu Dhabi flight would cost Rs.61,200.
As per sources, the fares of the national flag carrier have been surged owing to a large influx of people travelling to these 2 sectors, of which most of the passengers are Iqama holders and Labourers.
The agents have been notified by the PIA administration about the surge in fares.
Back in the month of July, the state-owned airline had announced to provide discounts up to 10percnt to the passengers travelling from London to Sialkot from the 24th of September to the 30th of November.
