PIA has increased the fares for domestic flights. The national airlines alongside other private airlines has surged the fares for their local passengers, as per the reports of local media.
The revised fares of a one-way trip from Karachi to Lahore, Islamabad would cost nearly Rs.35,000 and while fare from Lahore to Karachi and Quetta has been hiked by Rs.10,000 and Rs.15,000 respectively.
In the same way, the private airlines are charging Rs.36,000 for the flights headed for Rahim Yar Khan, Faisalabad and Islamabad.

In the meantime, a sudden surge in fares of PIA and the private airlines has resulted in creating a lot of difficulties for the people who have planned their journeys after the winter vacations.
Previously on the 29th May, the national flag carrier and other private airlines had surged their fares after the Aviation Authority had surged the fuel prices after a sharp surge in the international market and the surging dollar prices.
The hike in the flights’ fares before Eid had created problems for the people who use airways for travelling to their loved ones.
Following the hike in fares, the tickets of PIA from Lahore to Karachi was being sold up to Rs.31,000 from the earlier Rs.14,000.
