After a thorough investigation, the authorities of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) handed over its five employees to the police for their involvement in stealing valuable items from the luggage of a female passenger.
According to the statement of the PIA spokesperson, a woman passenger had filed a complaint that her gold jewelry, cash, and other valuable items were missing from her luggage.
The details said that the woman was the passenger of a PIA flight, PK-365, and traveled from Karachi to Peshawar.
The security and vigilance teams of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) took a swift action over the complaint and found five suspects guilty of stealing after a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
The spokesperson further said that the suspects were handed over to the airport police last night but the police unfairly took the credit of the entire efforts and detentions of the PIA officials.
Earlier on September 16, a British citizen had been offloaded from the PIA flight, PK-701 after he had attempted to bribe customs officials and ANF at the Islamabad International Airport.
