Earlier today, a PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) flight coming from Abu-Dhabi to Peshawar detected some mid-air faults in the plane therefore the flight than landed at the Karachi Jinnah International Airport Safely, reported ARY News.
The pilot of the flight PK-218 after distinguishing some technical issues with the hydraulics system of the plane contacted the ATC (Air Traffic Controller). At last, the pilot smartly landed the plane at the Karachi airport.
Now, the flight will be taking off for Peshawar as soon as the problem gets fixed, says the spokesperson of PIA. Until then, all the passengers of that flight are being provided with all the facilities.
The pilot of the aircraft PK-218 handled the plane well and landed it safely at the Karachi airport in order to avoid loss.
Earlier this year in May, PIA aircraft PK-8303 crashed into a residential area in the Model colony in Karachi although the plane was trying to approach the airport. The flight carried ninety-nine people in total and ninety-seven people lost their lives in the incident.
Only two people miraculously survived in the air-crash incident.
