Pakistan International Airlines—PIA has completed the preparations for the Hajj 2019 flight operations. This year 84,000 pilgrims would be flying to the holy land of Saudi Arabia via 318 scheduled flights for performing Hajj.
The Hajj flights would start from the 4th of July.
The national flag carrier would be flying Boeing 777 aeroplane with 300 pilgrims in the first batch that would be flown from the federal capital.
15,125 pilgrims from Karachi and 14,040 pilgrims from Islamabad would go for Hajj via PIA. While, 14,922 pilgrims from Lahore, 8,794 from Quetta, 8,740 from Peshawar, 5,300 from Multan, 4,300 from Sialkot, 1,700 from Faisalabad and 639 from Sukkur are included in it.
The flight operations for the Hajj pilgrims of the Pakistan International Airlines would begin from the 4th of July until the 5th of August, while the return flights of the pilgrims would begin from the 17th of August until the 14th of September.
The schedule has been forwarded to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony and the General Authority of Civil Aviation of the Kingdom which has already started the process of gathering the airfare from the pilgrims.
