PIA brings 322 Pakistani nationals back to country stranded in Malaysia

Following the instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, the national airline of Pakistan PIA brought back as many as 322 Pakistani nationals stranded in Malaysia.

These stranded Pakistani could not come back to Pakistan earlier due to the cancellation of the direct flights between Pakistan and Malaysia in the last week of February following the tensed situation in the region.

The Pakistan nationals have raised the high pitched slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ as soon as the aircraft landed on the soil of Pakistan.

A Special Assistant to Prime Minister Zulfi Bukhari and the Federal Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan have warmly welcomed them at the Islamabad International Airport.

Most of the Pakistani nationals were detained by the authorities of Malaysia upon the expiry of Visa or work permits due to this, they were facing troubles in returning to Pakistan due to the suspension of the direct flights between the two countries.

A number of people reached the Islamabad International Airport to welcome their loved ones, rescued from Malaysia.
