On Saturday, Sindh Government permitted all petrol pumps to remain open for twenty-four hours in the province in order to facilitate people.
Syed Nasir Hussain Shah Sindh Information Minister states that the decision has been taken to facilitate the citizens in the monsoon rains.
According to him, the Home Department is going to issue an official notification about the new order.
The petrol pumps in Sindh were allowed to open from 8:00 am-5:00 pm previously.
On the other hand, the Meteorological Department of Pakistan has again given a prediction of rain in Karachi with lightning and thunderstorm in the next twenty-four hours.
Yesterday on Friday, many parts of Karachi received heavy rainfall. This downpour is increasing the risks of urban flooding as there is a lack of prevention plans and urban drainage by the concerned authorities.
Many spots in Karachi were flooding due to the downpour and the city administration team was absent from those spots.
Korangi, I I Chundrigar Road, Clifton, M A Jinnah Road, Shahra-e-Faisal, Mahmoodabad, Gulistan-e-Johar, Akhtar Colony, Manzoor Colony, Saddar, and Malir was the areas that received heavy rain.
Around five hundred small Muhallas in the metropolis overflowed due to the rainfall.
